In- / Out-call rates

I have noticed that most London escorts charge a higher rate for outcalls. often GPB 20-30 more.

I can see the logic if a considerable travel time/cost is needed, but not if both my hotel and the escort's noted area address is in central London with exellent subway connections or at night paid cab fare.

Is it just a marketing trick to have me to pay the higher fee?

When I asked about it, earlier this year, I was told that it was to encourage guys to come to them. Probably easier to get more clients in a day this way.

 

The couple of escorts I discussed it with seemed bemused that it was noteworthy to an American.

Back when I would do outcalls, I charged more for them here in Texas, USA. I would not be at all surprised to find that this is a nearly universal practice. In fact, one review recently surprised me, as well as its writer, by announcing that that escort charges less for outcalls. First I ever heard of such a thing. But it was explained fairly easily - the escort specializes exclusively in FF and on outcalls is spared the clean up afterward - getting grease out of the carpet, etc.

Not only does it take more time to do an outcall than an incall, it is also perceived as more risky. I don't know if it's true or not, but I think that a lot of us feel that there is much less chance of being arrested in your own space. I do now it gives Maverick and me a chance to scope out a client's car before we open the door.

I dont really do in-calls but this is my thought if I were to do them. I dont see why I would charge more for a out-call rather than a in-call, I live in San Antonio and I am happy to come a see any of my clients without a increased rate. I think this has something to do with me loving my truck.
