Anything new in Puerto Vallarta?

Hi folks,

I am planning a late birthday trip to Pvr and of course some of the best places I’ve read about here and visited in the past have closed or are still charging on. 

For my first return visit post pandemic next weekend, I wondered if anyone had any new recommendations (strip clubs, hired boys or massagers)? I’m traveling solo with no plans except for a good time!

I’m thinking of heading to the pool party at Casa Cupula but I have no idea what it’s like.

I'll be in Puerto Vallarta for three weeks this Christmas.  Right now is still PV's slow/hot season, so not every bar/strip club/venue will be open.  Busy season starts week of Thanksgiving.

There's a new bar opened this year called STUDS.  It's a Bear/Leather bar.  It's in Zona Romantica, but it's not on the same block as most of the other gay bars.  If bears/leather is your scene, be sure to check it out.

For strip clubs, Club 69 is my favorite.  It's next door to Wet dreams, another gay strip club, but Club 69 is better.  There's also Anthropology gay strip club, it's one block north of Zona Romantica.  Pervert, a 4th gay strip club, probably won't be open until busy season.

If you're there on a Friday, book PV Delice Party Cruise.  It's about $140 US.  It's a day of snorkeling, lunch, clothing optional beach, and sexy games with the crew on a party boat.

As for the pool party at Casa Cupula, I'm sad to say it's gone co-ed on Saturdays and Sundays.  The new term is "inclusive", which means pay your $$$ but keep your clothes on and no hanky panky.  Time and money would be better spent on the beach near Blue Chairs.  Friday pool parties at Casa Cupula are still clothing optional men only, a decent alternative if you arrive too late to book a PV Delice Party Cruise.  For Sunday afternoons, Beers Burgers Boys at Hotel Mercurio is fun.

Amarilla Villas isn't offering men-only days yet, but they said they will bring that back during their busy winter season.

Check out Palm Cabaret and Incanto for English gay entertainment.  There are a few shows performing now, and more will arrive soon as the month progresses.

Sauna Spartacus is open again.  It's a multi-story bathhouse with open roof deck.  They offer massages.  For a cheap price, you get a sure thing.

Plus half of the massage parlors in Zona Romantica can offer happy ending.  On Grindr, pretty much everyone with Massage or massage icon on their profile title  is available for hire.  Expect about $1000-$1500 pesos for a massage or $3000 pesos for escort found via Grindr.  RentMen guys will charge $4000-$5000 pesos.

For the cruise, bring a handful of $500 peso notes.  When on the beach, ask the staff if anyone can do one on one entertainment.  I had so many protein drinks from the cruise staff that day 😉.  I plan on booking twice during my upcoming three week trip.

The last time I was at Casa, their pool party was a sad state of affair.  

They had obese go-gos working it.  Literally.  Like 40+ lbs overweight.  I didn't understand it.

Perhaps they're going full-in on the whole 'inclusion' thing.  We'll see how long it lasts.

I also read it went Co-ed and no more hanky-panky.  Last time I was there in January it was packed, so I don't know why they need to cram more people in. I'll pass - Too many better options.

I haven't been on either but saw a post in a Gay PV Facebook group comparing the gay cruises, Jet's Naked, PV Delice, and Wet n' Wild.  Jet's seemed to get the most positive comments. However, "the shot" sounded like fun on the Wet n' Wild tour!  Anyone been on either and would like to share stories?

I've been on Wet n Wild twice (2017 & 2022), and PV Delice once (2021).  I plan on doing PV Delice twice on my upcoming 3 week trip this Christmas.

The most recent Wet n Wild I went on had new, young, inexperienced gay for pay entertainers.  They were very reluctant to do foreskin shots, and never got naked.  The fellow passengers and I were blowing each other on the private beach, but the boat staff did not participate in the fun.

I heard great things about Jet's entertainment on the beach, but the transportation in a water taxi one hour each way turns me off.
