Hey all,

Just as an update to my old post on bottoming and how hard it is to keep clean, I think I'm in a good place with that now.

I started supplementing with fiber (Fiber's Choice...trying the maximum dosage of 6 tablets per day), which seems to have made a big difference (more regularity, less messy characteristics in general, etc.). Simply put, I think with enough fiber, it's going to be cleaner no matter what.

Second, the subject came up in a conversation with the escort I see fairly regularly, and he recommended Fleet enemas, which is what I did initially but stopped because I was afraid of damaging myself since I heard overuse can be harmful. He explained he talked to his (gay) doctor about them, and the doc said that as long as you don't use them more than once or twice a week, they're safe to use (which is actually in line with the directions on the carton). They do work EXTREMELY well for me, so I think from now on, I'm just going to do that and be careful not to overuse them. It was clean as a whistle this last time and MUCH more pleasant because we didn't have to worry about it.

Thanks everybody for the tips and such. Just thought it might benefit others to share this. =o)

FLEETS IN!!!!

But seriously now,,,the only problem with fleets is that the quantity of water is too small to really get clean.

If you are going to get serious about this you might want to consider a enama bag.

The other alternative, and the one I advocate(and many friends use)is a douching atachment for your shower. You can get one online(see hoos link to PictureBrite above)and it installs easily with pliers and some silicon tape(oh-you will need to go to the hardware store and get a diverter-get an all metal one-the plastic types break easily)

You will want to start out with a pretty low level of water preassure to start out with-and it will fell really strange.Use warm-not hot water-cold water is to much of a shock and may cause a heart attack.

MAKE SURE the water in your area is good-most are fine.If you are at all deficiant in your imune system dont use this system, also don't overdo-you can damage the helpful sillia in your gut by overdoing-really only if you are going to get fucked or you are constipatied should you be using an enama at all, mostfolks that have a shower enama use it way to often. It does start feeling good after a while so you must resist the temptation.

The enema tube itself is stainless steel-it can be cleaned out with soap and water and then bleached(rinse well)or sterilised after use if you want.Make sure you have water flowing out of the tube BEFORE you stick it up your/your partners ass.

It can seem gross afterwards-some guys develop a fetish around this and it becomes part of some kinky sex play.

Great comments all! And yes, I definitely plan to get slammed whenever possible - hehe. =oP

I'm talking about the NON-water Fleets. I know using empty bottles with just water is popular, which I did for a while, but it didn't seem to help much (or enough at least). But the kind of Fleet enema I'm talking about has a mild chemical compound in it (hence why you don't want to overuse them). You basically get on all fours, apply the enema, keep it in as long as possible in the right position (5 minutes is optimal), and then evacuate it. This method works pretty damned well for me. Let me put it this way. There was NO mess at all the last time I had sex after doing this (and we went for it twice quite a while apart - lol).

I've thought about both options. Enema bags look like a pain and a half to set up. The shower attachment is much more appealing, but considering often I'm the one away from home when seeing someone, that probably isn't optimal either (removing it, reinstalling it elsewhere, etc.). The nice thing about Fleet enemas is they're so portable. However, if I find that's not working for me, I might have to consider one of these more "hardcore" options. So far I'm quite happy with how it works (but who knows - coulda been a fluke I suppose, but I doubt it).

Also thank you for the tips on using these more permanent enemas. It's interesting stuff even if I don't get one right away. I've heard some people really like them, and they may make more sense someday if I have a regular partner.

I also never realized cold water could cause a heart attack! Sheesh!

Ah yes, when "cleaning the kitchen", never use cold water. It will cause a vasal-vagal reaction...

I bought myself a shower shot recently and use it prior to clients. Even if I use it almost 30-45 minutes prior to walking in the door of an out call, I haven't had any problems.

As some one mentioned above, I try not to use it every day or risk changing the pH of my colon or even doing some physical damage.

Other than that, I try to eat a high fibre diet, wash thoroughly before and after sex and basically keep aware of what my body is doing.

For those who don't want to use the Fleet's enema because of the chemicals, etc., my local drugstore sells something that has a tip just like a fleet's enema, but instead of the platic cylinder you squeeze, it has a orange/grapefruit sized blue rubber bulb. The tip screws off and you can refill it. It only contains what you put in it and I have the general impression it holds more than a pre-filled enema. You lube up the tip yourself of course.

When travelling, I find it fits neatly in a shoe in your suitcase, so it won't take up too much room.

>where do you get a enema bag?????? Thanks

You can get enemas from several places. Note the Fleet enemas I use do NOT use bags at all - they're simply plastic bottles with an insertive tip and fluid inside them. They're similar to an ear syringe as someone mentioned above (which would be good if you'd rather use water than a chemical solution and'd last longer than these Fleet bottles).

You can buy enemas (and that includes bags too sometimes) from most drugstores I'd think. I can also think of a few places online. Drugstore.com sells enemas, both the Fleet kind and actual enema bag kits (and they're very reliable to work with). Picture Brite Corp, though I've never tried them (you can get to them by following the "Poppers & Toys" link at the top of this website), also sells enema equipment (including shower stuff).

Hope this answers your questions.
