There are some people who think Flounder in particular looks a little too lifelike! Also for the trailer I posted above someone in the youtube comments said watch when Scuttle dives into the water and eats a fish. Wouldn't Ariel and Flounder be horrified? 🤣

Just went to see it this afternoon. A theater by me has $8 tickets all day on Tuesdays so that's the best day to go. I do prefer the animated movie over this one but by itself it's a pretty good movie. Melissa McCarthy & Halle Bailey are both amazing in it. Everyone who was a part of that whole #NotMyAriel campaign hopefully regrets that.

That's actually the first movie I saw in theaters since the pandemic. I've been fine with just waiting to watch stuff at home but I promised my sister I'd take her. But it was nice because the theater I go to underwent a total renovation during the shutdown and it's really nice now.
