I just wrote an e-mail to Shadow in Nashville, but it bounced immediately. As it was an AOL address, he may have gone the way of all flesh with the Cyber Puritans who operate that outfit. Fortunately, I saved a copy of the message and would be happy to re-send it. Does anybody know if Shadow is still escorting? Has he retired after a short career of only three months? Inquiring minds want to know.

It's no wonder: I was chasing my shadow indeed. I had the wrong name. He's still escorting, and we've been in e-mail correspondence off and on all day. It turns out there was a glitch in the e-mail I sent him. Case closed.
