I don't think i would make a request of a video if I'm going to see him. Did he offer to make or sell a video? Perhaps the escort in question thinks this is a prank or something.

Sounds like he's prioritizing others who have more concrete plans. I didn't see that you offered any potential dates to him but just talking back and forth and paying a nominal 10$ for a video clip.
