Although most of my escort experiences have been rather terrific, I have had two encounters that were total disasters. Last week, the guy I had hired chewed gum the entire time, kissed me like I was his brother or sister and failed to bring condoms/lube as I had asked since I told him I wanted to bottom with him. You were foolish....as I was a few years ago when I did the exact thing you did...paid him. He couldn't get hard and admitted to having jerked off 3 times that day, before seeing me. This was in my "pre HooBoy" days. Now, I would send him on his way without giving him one penny. Not getting hard is now a No No with me....I advise every escort I hire that I expect a hard one. If they feel that they can't supply it, then don't accept the job.

I'd like to know when you learned he didn't bring the condom and lube (as requested). If he revealed the information when he arrived and you went ahead anyhow... you owe him. If he waited till you were naked and ready to go... recognize you have a hustler on your hands, address the issue but make your safety a priority.

A. I still say we need a new conference on here that is simply called "ASK THE CLIENT."

 

B. If you book the session and the escort shows up, the fairness issue would dictate that he should be compensated. I find myself unable to properly answer this question as I would never show up to a hotel room or a client's home without condoms (and plenty of them), lube and even poppers, irregardless of what the client has indicated he may or may not have.

 

Should an escort be compensated for a full hourly fee? That honestly depends on the circumstances. If a client told me he requires me to get hard in order to receive my fee for the services I was providing, I would advise that client that I was probably not the escort for him, not because I would be unable to get hard, as that is exceedingly rarely the case with me, but simply because just as a client would not wish to be viewed up an ATM machine with a pulse, I have no desire to be viewed as a hard on with a heart beat.

 

C. Is cab fare appropriate compensation? That also depends. I think the concern raised about the client's safety (as well as the escorts safety, as threads on this board have pointed out - the issue can clearly cut both ways), are fully appropriate.

 

A client recently related a story about an escort in Berlin who requested his fee up front, pocketed the fee, and left - without doing anything at all. When my client complained to the Agency used for the booking, several very large thugs showed up and kicked open his hotel room door, in one of the nicer hotels in the city.

 

There are sometimes no hard and fast rules and often the question is the particular circumstance, what was discussed (for example, in this instance, I do believe the escort who forgot the condoms did not merit his full fee) and agreed upon and how the situation was handled.

 

Again, this speaks volume, from both ends, that communication - AND PLENTY OF IT - are required to make a really good experience for both parties involved.

I bring poppers which I find some clients like to use and the brand I choose to provide tends to be of a higher quality. I do not "force" clients to partake. I merely bring them along in a "kit" with me, as one my bring toe nail clippers on a trip whether one needs to ends up using them or not.

 

I have and do remind clients not to mix the use of viagra with poppers which properly is actually within 24 hours use.

 

However, just for the record, while I have had clients as young as 22 and as old as 74, nearly three fourths of my clients are between the ages of 32 and 44.

thanks for your thoughtful reply...i am a professional who is paid for my time when i act as a consultant, etc so I am very sensitive to the fact that an escort should be paid for his time as well...i fully realize that not all interactions work and i think both the escort and client take a risk when they contract with each other for time....most of the time, the escorts i have hired have been simply spectacular....i guess what threw me for these two interactions was how out of line they were with my usual experience...i was totally caught off guard...both of these guys were very young, both were very good looking and hung, but both seemed totally distracted by the entire process...the escorts i connect with are guys who from the moment the door opens, are totally into making the time work....so i guess i felt these two guys were non-professional and had an attitude...i realize they travelled a distance and spent time with me, but i felt like i had been "had"....that's why i asked my question in the first place...these kind of guys make the good escorts look bad.....fortunately they are the exception in my experience....one of them was thru an agency by the way and I told his agent how disappointed i was.......

If you are a bottom as your initial post indicates, I don't see how the escort who couldn't get hard could expect you to pay him anything. Without getting hard, what could he do for you? If you hired a masseur and he showed up with two broken arms, what would you be paying him for?

 

The same applies to the escort who didn't bring the items you requested, which are also necessary for the two of you to do much of anything. If you hire someone for a job and he shows up without something that is necessary to do the job, why would he expect to be paid?
