I was wondering if escorts accept only cash, or is a credit card or check payment ever accepted.

I think it varies most like cash. One I have built up a repore with takes my checks its just easier for both of us. They guys from agencies sometimes work with Credit Cards but its pre-arranged you just have to ask but if your a first time they want "show me the money" hUGS Chuck:P

Since I know the real name of my regular escort, we've agreed to use cashier's checks for "large" transactions (overnight or travel engagements.)

Neither one of us likes to carry large sums of cash.

That's probably true. The last time I saw Rick, he accepted a gift certificate to ToysRUs.

I wonder what kind of toys he bought.

I prefer cash, but I have accepted checks from regular clients.

For larger amounts, traveler's checks or money orders are fine.

For travel and long sessions, as Losgatan suggests, cashier's (or bank checks), other easily negotiable instruments (postal money orders are better than American Express or other money orders, for example) and traveler's check may be problematic as well for some escorts.

However, once I have established a good rapport with clients, for longer, multiple hour sessions, for our mutual convenience, I have accepted personal checks.

I would not expect an escort whom you meet for a first time who is not through an agency to accept a personal check. However, any number of escorts are set up to accept Pay Pal payments, but not most, it would appear. Some may also be set up to receive credit cards who are not working through an agency, but an agency would be your best bet there.

other easily negotiable instruments like money orders . . . may be OK, but instruments such as traveler's checks may be problematic for some escorts.

Sorry about this.
