Booking an escort

Am going out to San Diego and LA in late September. Am looking to book escorts before I leave home. Will be travelling for two weeks.

Called an escort recently whom I had missed in Tampa near where I spend winter. Saw he has just moved to LA. Got him on phone and asked to make appointment for late September. Was told he did not book that far in advance. Told me to call 5 or 6 days before I want to meet him. Considering fact that I made appointment with guy in Phoenix for October several weeks ago, I was frankly surprised. Have made similar appointments long in advance before.

 

How do you guys handle making bookings? Do you make long term appointments? I always keep in constant contact with guys I plan to meet to make sure they know I am serious. Frequently call them via

telephone to get to know them a a bit.

 

Suppose it is a matter of personal choice. Would like to hear from escorts on this matter. Thanks.

You may be pushing a bit here and setting off some alarms. While a phone call or two to get acquainted is definitely correct, calling "frequently" to chat for a month in advance seems a bit much. Typically, I book from a few days to two weeks in advance, unless it is a travel commitment for the escort. Even then, I have been told to call back to confirm once I'm in town on occasion for first time appts. For trips, I don't do those unless I've met the escort previously, so we know each other and it hasn't been an issue.

This topic has been addressed before and you may be able to still find the information in the archieves, if there is such a section for this particular conference.

 

In a nutshell, it depends on the escorts. I would look within several sites, like AmericanMale.Net, http://www.maleprime.com, rentboy, and through the reviews on this site for a selection of escorts who appeal to you. Write to them and ask them what they availability is for the dates in question. For example, I already know which weekends or days I should be in San Diego or Palm Springs through mid-October.

 

This is a good way to initiate contact with your escorts. I think you should follow-up ONCE and express a definite interest during the set time you will be there and then say you will be back in touch with them by "x" date to confirm a set date. This follow up should be no earlier than two weeks in advance, IMHO. Most guys are just uncomfortable to lock in a set appointment.

 

For example, I just returned from a 2 hour session that was booked more than 2 weeks in advance, but this client is a regular of mine who visits Los Angeles. It is more akin to him advising me of his travel dates, than the other way around. I also had a prospective client contact me on Tuesday for a 3 hour session either Friday or Saturday. I told him I might be scheduled tonight (Saturday) but could see him Friday and that it was possible my regular would cancel on me (he has done it before, paying me my fee and then taking a make-up session without payment another time. He does this when his work obligations run over, etc.)

 

The propect took my telephone number and has yet to call, although he said he would when his plane landed on Friday. He is a 48 year old businessman. This kind of thing happens frequently, and had I turned down work last night on the expectation of these three hours (even though he had emailed me several times to let me know he was "for real" in his own words), I would have experienced the same economic loss that an airline does when a flight takes off with empty seats.

 

If you require a definite appointment set well in advance, you could ask them if they would accept a small deposit towards the full rate to hold same.
