I'd be interested to hear various views on sucking. I find that maybe half of the guys I visit will suck me without a condom, half will do so only with a condom, and maybe 10% actually swallow. This seems to me to be pretty dangerous, and I'm a little wary of the latter; I realise that unless there is some kind of abrasion in the mouth it's safe enough, but it still seems little chancy. But what about the 50% who will suck without a condom? There's such a thing as pre-cum . . . not that I don't think that being sucked without a condom is 100% better than the alternatrive, but . . .

I think that real world evidence (as well as many studies) support the fact that sucking dick is, relatively speaking, a low risk activity in terms of HIV infection. For the past decade, I haven't encountered anyone who uses a condom to suck dick. I think that HIV infection rates would have skyrocketed in the gay community if fellatio presented a high or even moderate risk.

I have never had an escort that insisted on using a condom for blowing. I've had escorts who didn't seem to put much heart into it, who enjoyed other things, or were just bad candidates for this line of work. To me, if you're going to do this line of work, that's one of the requirements.

I have always found it curious that female escorts always insist on a condom for oral sex, while it is much less common, even rare among male escorts. Why the difference? Does the science change based on gender? Or is it that straight men don't have the balls to insist on a good old-fashioned blow job?

All I can do is report my own experience. I doubt there is much scientific research on this, but it would be an interesting study to be a part of. If yours is different, I am happy for you. Seriously, I would say that this difference as well as the cost savings has led me to choose male over female escorts with much greater frequency. (In case anyone is interested, my other observation is that there tends to be better quality control, and fewer scams in male escorting than female (particularly in D.C.). Don't ask me why. I only report what I have observed.)

It has seemed to me that escorts in Europe tend to use condoms on their clients when they do oral more than those escorts in the US. Not sure why but this is my impression (although the sample size I have made is much larger in the US than in Europe)....Wayno

That has also been my experience too, but I did not say it earlier for fear of incurring the wrath of Deej!

Quite honestly, if an escort either wanted me to put on a condom for him to blow me or vice versa, I would suggest just skipping the oral sex. I would rather kiss and touch and then get fucked than either get a blow job I cannot feel or suck on latex. Just my two cents worth.

It comes down to: do I want to suck a hard dick or a limp one? Rarely does anyone stay hard that way, even with my skills. I used to insist on it when I started, but the idea did not go over too well. Having excellent dental health & hygiene is a priority for me so I feel that the risk is extremely low. I have never blown anyone with a condom so I can't speak to that, but from the point of view of the blowee, I don't think it makes much difference, unless of course you are using a really thick brand of authentic rubber condoms!

I am not going to say that getting blown with a condom is a reference, but I have found a few guys who are very skillful in getting the condom on me using their mouths plus hands without Jimmy getting tired or bored!
