Tam is nice enough guy who provides C+ work on a table. But... he has a aggressive white Pomeranian who must accompany him everywhere, including looking at you getting your massage from a adjacent perch.

Oh, I would not like that.  I once had a massage with a masseur who has a studio apartment and a small pooch.  Well, this little pooch had the loudest bark and kept barking at me from the minute I entered the apartment.  He even tried jumping on me when I was naked. I thought he was looking for the beef.  I was totally unnerved from the beginning to the end of the hour.  The masseur tells me that he could lock him in the bathroom but the devil pooch would only be scratching on the door to get out.  So that's my problem?  The purpose of a massage is to relax but that was not the case for me that day.  I vowed never to return.  One and done!

Be thankful he only had one dog with him.  If you see him in LA, his home base, he has two of those dogs...a male and a female.  He sometimes travels with them both, too.  As previously said, not the most relaxing experience.

And how does a masseur not disclose this when setting up appointment! I just hope the dog is not in some way part of the massage (back massage or HE)

I had a slightly better experience: B massage and no dog.
There is another provider in SF who has a small dog who growls and yaps at the door for the first 10 mins of the massage before calming down.
