Advantages & Disadvantages of taking incalls

Hi! I'm interested in hearing advantages and disadvantages of taking incalls. I know the obvious ones but am interested in actual world experiences. Stories would be great!

It gets me to make my bed and clean up the unit. It upsets my little girl, as she is not fond of strangers in the house. It provides the client with an opportunity to spend time with me at a less expensive rate. It is convenient for me to work from home. I cannot do it late at night which means I lose some opportunities but I must respect my neighbors.

 

The neighbors used to think I dealt drugs. They are mostly straight and cannot imagine what I really do, apparently. It gives me a tax write off for candles, flowers, juice and mineral water ("entertainment"). It probably provides the more discerning clients with an opportunity to learn things about me.

Well one disadvantage is meeting with someone with a few screws missings who starts turning up at your apartment every other day just to see if you have time for them. There are still advantages like not having to get ready to go out. I really enjoy hanging out naked in my apt and just throwing on some shorts when the knock is at my door.

thanks for all the responses so far. I also wanted to ask about the disadvantages. I know the worst problem is the "stalker" but how often does this really happen?

 

If you had to do it over would you still take incalls? Do the advantages far outweigh any disadvantages?

Back in the bad old days when I had a roommate (an "ex-Tina freak" who turned out to be a relapsed Tina freak) I only did in-calls when he wasn't around. One day he unexpectedly came home while I was giving a client a massage (we were both naked, of course) and the door to my bedroom, which hadn't quite caught shut, swung open as soon has he slammed the front door. So he walked by and saw us, and I had to run up and close the door. Oh well, minor embarrassment, carry on.

 

Well, not sixty seconds later, the buzzer (which is one of those really loud, grating ones) starts ringing, and ringing, and ringing. And ringing. I'm like, what the fuck, and get up, wrap up in a towel and step out of my room, only to see my roommate just standing there, checking his voicemail, acting like this incredible noise isn't happening. "I told him to call before he comes over, so I'm ignoring him."

 

Well, the guy's time was up anyway, so we finished (there was, thankfully, a brief lull in the buzzing until we start getting dressed again). I slipped the client out the back entrance, then looked out front to see the skankiest, grubbiest skater rat, a drugged-out looking 16-year-old (I'm guessing.) He had left something at our apartment and my roommate (who can't find his own keys) couldn't find it and had decided he just didn't want to deal, so he was just going to ignore it.

 

So while the buzzer is STILL going off, my roommate asks if the guy with me was a client and says he doesn't want me to have any over for security reasons. It's much safer, of course, for him to troll the parks looking for $40 tweeked-out hustlers, like our new friend whose buzzing just kept getting more and more insistent.

 

I live alone now. I love in calls. :*

In addition to the advantages listed, I would add that with incalls I save on time a gas commuting to a client's home or hotel. Fortunately, I am centrally located downtown Columbus and can reach just about any part of the city in under a 1/2 hour. Still, it's nice to have a client come to my place. I can have a porn going to help create a "mood" and I also have plenty of supplies and toys to choose from here at home.

 

As far as disadvantages go, I have had very few over the years. A few who showed up ringing my buzzer to see if I was available(nipped that in the bud real quick!). I don't think my current neighbors have a clue as to what I do. The building I live in is very discreet and no one would know where a client was going unless they followed them to my door. Another disadvantage is that when time's up, it's easier to leave a client's home or hotel than to have to give someone the "bum's rush" when they seem oblivious to the time.

I forgot to mention that I live in a secure building. You need to be buzzed in to knock on my door. Therefore, my case is different and that is one thing which makes it an advantage. They can buzz you at odd hours, you simply lower the volume or turn down the telephone. Eventually they get tired though it has not happened to me.

 

The real advantage is control and comfort but I agree, I love going to hotel rooms!

Or, in my case, if they buzz at odd hours they just get a busy signal, since I have my computer plugged into my phone line (which is connected to the buzzer) except when I'm expecting somebody.

Ditto here. Hotel visits are one of the best perks of our job!
