Continuity in the Unread Site Content

I usually scroll through the Unread Site Content to see what's new.  Since the introduction of favorite photos from previous albums, continuity is no longer maintained, at least for me.  For instance, today, I scrolled normally until I reached posts from eight hours ago.  Then, suddenly, I found myself in a series of photos from June 2018 with no apparent way to pick up where I left off in the Unread Content.  Is there a fix to this?  Am I doing something wrong?

The Unread Site Content now seems to feature mostly pictures. How many nude guys do we need? Okay, a lot. But do they have to be reposted in the Unread Site Content section? Can't the interested party just go to the images sections?

If you don't want to see all the photos when you go to Unread Site Content, you will see a column that says Content Types; click on Topics and Apply Changes at the bottom, and you will just get the unread contents in the old format (no photos). Radio Rob addressed this in a long post on Site Issues.
