Great way to use American miles for LAX people. . Tempted to combine a CA and Europe trip myself.  57.5K AA miles on Air Tahiti in lie-flat Business most of the year.

Not a fan of TNs J seating.  It's not comfortable for people over 6' tall.

Now, Air France in La Premiere to Paris...  That's a whole world of incredible.

Are you talking about their B787 or former A340 J class (I haven't flown with them at all)? Air Tahiti Nui have stopped flying to Sydney but they codeshare with QF across the ditch and I've seen them on QF searches SYD-LAX.

A minor point of clarification, these flights are on Air Tahiti Nui (TN) not Air Tahiti (VT), which is the domestic carrier in French Polynesia.
