Simon Rex from Hollywood fame and who used to do gay porn in a new movie by Sean Baker about a porn star who returns to his hometown "semi-welcome". Rotten Tomatoes score of 80% and several international awards.  Around DC it's just playing at the Charles art house theater in Baltimore two showings a week but Amazon already has it on presale to purchase for $15. Don't know why none of the biggies have snagged it yet but it's a lot better and funnier than some drivel they dish out.

He won Best Actor in the LA Critics Awards and should be in the Oscar race. Doubtful though. Happy for him. He was very good in it. I guess he could relate to the character.  Love this movie. It’s in the top 10 of some critics year’s best.
