I have never seen Numbers as busy as it was Friday night!! Spotted "Kristian LA" and Scott Adler among many other hotties there with their friends and boyfriends.

 

I know many of you have hadnad experiences foodwise there butitkeeps getting better and better every week.

 

I really think it isnot to he missed

I know I've read that you don't like it for some reason. But It is a fun place. Give it another chance. I have the salmon and it's really good. The chicken curry is also excellent. I've eaten in the finest restaurants on all the continents and this is fairly decent for the money.

 

Meet me there next Friday and give it another chance. I'm there now every Friday.

I stopped in for some food a couple of weeks ago on a Friday night. Except for a couple of booths all were empty as well as the tables for two at 9-10 PM. My juicy leaky hamburger was acceptable, but the fries were the worst, that I have ever been served. soggy or wimply and appeared to have been frozen or stored after they were cooked once, then reheated and served luke warm. Now how do can you mess up frites so badly, they should have been trashed? It would be a good place for Chef Ramsey to read the riot act and straighten out the kitchen. LOL!

Once was enough!

 

The bar was anything but crowded. A couple of guys to pursue tips!

I'm rarely one to start a fight here ... oh who am I kidding ... but I have to ask what date this was because I have been there for dinners on Friday the last three weeks in a row and could barely move.

 

By 8 PM all the main booths tend to be taken and the two tops are always full with some people even opting not to wait and eat outside.

 

I unfortunately am overly picky with food not eating much red meat or seafood (yeah yeah, cheap date until the wine list comes out) so I can't speak to much of their food beyond the chicken and vegetarian dishes. But what I've had there I've always enjoyed thoroughly including LOVING the fries. I typically HATE skinny crispy fries but these are done perfectly and always delicious. My other friends who are sea-foodies always enjoy their dishes and I never hear the end of how good the steaks are and I should break down and try one for a change.

 

I'm gonna close by saying that not only do I NOT have a vested interest in this place but quite the opposite. The owner and I have been at odds since an event I threw there and if anything I bitch about the lack of menu items available for me (heavy high priced item/seafood/redmeat emphasis). I will say though that the past few Fridays have been mostly standing room only so I'm curious as to which Numbers you must have been at and when.

 

Sorry, was just surprised to read that review and as much as I don't get along with the powers that be, it's definitely better than it's ever been since I've seen it as Numbers, Digits, and Numbers again through multiple owners.

One can differ on the size of the crowd, but it is clear that there are two schools on Numbers. One loves it, the other hates it. I have been there many times, and I hate it. Especially after my last 2 visits.

Their event on Saturday is called "Hustle" and they still have a lot of hot guys as hosts entertaining the guests. But it does get busy a bit later on Saturday than Friday. But it is full by 8PM and stays busy later.

Have never been there on a week-end night, but was there on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday there was a pretty good crowd with some interesting young guys. The bartender was gorgeous looking and very charming. Too bad he wasn't interested in extra work after closing hours ! There was also a woman behind the bar,apparently the manager on duty. She seemed very strange. She constantly ran back and forth to the back and every time she reappeared at the bar , she ordered vodka for herself. Almost seemed as if she were on drugs or something. Very peculiar. Hope I am wrong.

 

On Thursday there were very few people. The bartenders were average looking, to put it mildly. In my opinion it looks ridiculous if you work shirtless and don't have a body to show off. The guys working the bar were also of very poor quality. In my opinion nothing that could interest me.

 

People tell me the bar works best on week-ends. Next week , I will try to be there to have a look.

Wednesday is an event called Industry thrown by Jason Sechrest. The goal is 10 porn stars but sometimes you'll have to settle for 8. It's usually a good early crowd 7 - 10 but they're working on keeping the crowd there with drink specials these days.

 

I was sitting with Jason, Chi Chi and a date Wednesday at the last mirrored booth and two top. Where were you? Would have been nice to say hi

Ahhh Ace Sinclaire. Yum. Hung like a circus pony and an ass you can bounce a quarter off of. Used to be very versatile but now only bottoms because it's less work

That's Judy who does manage the bar usually splitting duties with the owner who is no longer there on Wednesdays so she's entitled to getting a tad frazzled. When she finally does get to sit down she's a lot of fun.

I was there last Friday and it was alot of fun. Lots of cute 'hosts' and some working boys. Most are of the twink variety, if that's you thing. The new owner is trying very hard to return Numbers to it's old glory. The only criticism is the food. At the old Numbers, the food was excellent, now it's just okay. That said, I was there with 3 other friends and we all had a great time. We all had dinner and alot of drinks and we bought alot of drinks for the 'hosts' and the bill was $250 for all of us, which we all thought was not bad considering all the drinks and we were there from 7:30 to midnight.
