That’s what is great about places like Spa 27/HK Spa in NYC and Thai Wellness Spa in LA. They take the time to keep an updated file of most of their masseurs. It really helps avoid a lot of uncertainty.

It kills me when people add a useless comment instead of doing a simple search for information. Jay was described in this thread a month ago.

If you look up fifth ave men’s spa on instagram you’ll see photos of their old therapist who are now at seasons. I didn’t love my experiences at 5th ave so i can’t make a recommendation but they did have a pretty diverse group

It seems like quite a few guys who work in spas also have ads on RM. Where do you prefer to see them - at the spa or where they host - and why? Presumably more extras at their place (or yours if they don’t host) than the spa, but…?

Went to the new Seasons Men Spa on 13th street. I had Jason, tall muscular good looking Asian. Massage was pretty good and he was nice, checking in on pressure. The room was a decent size but they are separated by curtains so not very private. Saw another good looking tall asian guy on my way out and the guy at the front desk was nice.

Seriously... He has pics on his ad showing his gorgeous, incredibly fit body, but yes his face is blurred.  However, people have commented, myself included, saying how handsome he is (including his face). Short of sneaking a pic (definitely a breach of trust) or providing a sketch of his face, what would you like?

I'm not sure what I should post.  If a provider is not licensed to provide massage in a state, is there a prohibition to discussing the experience that the provider offers?

Yes, I was referring to Jay at 27MS, as was @Manhattan, most likely. I haven't heard of Jay at Batman Spa. I generally ignore anything to do with that place.

I always look forward to getting a massage at 27 Men’s Spa whenever I’m in New York—I’ve always had a great experience. The last time, about seven months ago, I had Sandro, and it was excellent.

However, yesterday’s experience was really disappointing. I had Alex, and it felt like all he wanted to do was rush through the massage, get me off, collect a tip, and be done with it.

To make it worse, just before I left, another masseur reminded me to leave a tip. I was surprised because I always tip when I’m satisfied, and none of the previous masseurs ever asked for one directly.

This time, it felt pushy and inappropriate, which really put me off.
