East men with Yeah man , which one is better

I had chen at yeah men. I had overall very good experience.  I never liked east men.  may be my luck.  Troy I had on east men, not good for me.

Does anyone have recommendations for spas that have scrub rooms similar to East Men, where the whole room is a “wet room” with a waterproof massage table?

The types I’m not a fan of are the ones where there’s a shower table in a regular room, like Energy, or a pop-up (?) tub like at Batman (at least from what I was shown, didn’t actually ask for the scrub there because of it).

I wonder too

I had an appointment with Jay at Batman Spa last week. He was very polite, gave a really great massage, and we both seemed to enjoy all aspects from beginning to end. He does give one of the strongest massages around

There was no upsell. No negotiation. He gave great service and I tipped accordingly.

As for his looks, I'd say he's a regular looking guy with a nice body. Not a model. Probably in his early to mid thirties. His hair is a really bad orange blond which looks terrible on him. And he could use a visit to a dermatologist. If the right guy meets him and gives him a makeover, he could be handsome.

Just adding another +1 for Adem at 27 mens spa. Saw him as a walk in for 45 mins.Handsome guy, fit body but not overly muscled. Gave a very good massage with decent pressure. No negotiations about extras and left very satisfied. Will def be seeing him again

Curious to get this forum’s opinion about masseurs in NYC spas… and I realize this is very YMMV:

I'm wondering, when it comes to active mutual participation at the end, do you feel that masseurs tend to be a little more participatory in the daytime (middle of a shift) vs. later in the evening (end of their shift)? I feel like a case could be made either way. I could see them having more energy and interest earlier in their shift when they haven’t been doing this all day long, but I could also make a case for being the last client of the night when they’re no longer expecting anyone else.

i guess I’m mostly curious if you think there’s any correlation between their interest level versus the time of shift. I realize many factors could be at play and mileage would really vary from masseur to masseur. Any opinions?

It’s completely subjective and as you said YMMV, but I find that the therapeutic aspects of my massages are better when I go closer to opening. The extras are better when I go closer to closing. The entire energy of the spa and staff seem more relaxed and spirited at the end of the day as well

Have wondered this too. Anecdotally, the least interactive massage I've had has been in the earlier part of the day and the most interactive was toward the end of the shift. I'm a visitor to NYC though so not as much experience as many of the contributors.

hey has anyone been so Seasons Men Spa on 13th Street?  Any recommendations?  Its near me so I was thinking of checking it out

The roster of guys makes me think this is the same owner of Fifth Avenue Men Spa that closed a few months ago. Same names, Rustam, Kris.

Jay at Batman is awesome. Completely friendly and polite. He wants to give you what you want and he is quite good at it. He can deliver both a therapeutic and/or a fun massage. I think I’ve been to him about 15-20 times over the last few years. He’s my favorite go-to masseur. I occasionally try others, but don’t have nearly as much fun. He really makes the magic happen and is a nice guy to boot.

I actually went Saturday for the first time. It was a lot of the guys from Fifth Ave Mens spa (Rustam, Nathan, Mauricio) and some new faces. Seems like they’re transitioning in these new guys along with guys who have been there. I saw Thom who was just okay to me, and I probably wouldn’t repeat. I could hear the guy next to me getting a massage and he seemed to be really enjoying (this made my experience less enjoyable tho) so may be worth trying out if you’re in the area.

Thank you!   I never went to fifth Avenue. So I don’t know those masseurs. What do Rustam, Nathan and Mauricio look like? Any you’d recommend?

I went to Epic men spa on 63rd and Lexington, for a Brazilian.

As Jeremy was shaving my balls, I had a big hard on (it would be hard not to, when a man is holding your cock in his hand) Unfortunately he didn’t offer to help with that. I didn’t want to leave with blue balls, so I asked if I could get a massage with one of his guys (hoping they would be more helpful).

I had Pete who gave me a thorough Thai massage but he kept my private parts under a towel at all time, clear sign that he doesn’t want to do anything else.

So I left with clean shaven - but still very blue - balls and quite disappointed.

I am writing off epic men spa as a purely therapeutic place and won’t try again.

I thought New Yorker closed several months ago, around the same time as Grandee closed (but for unrelated reasons)? Is it still open?

Grandee still says closed on Google Maps and nothing has been updated.

Grandee is clearly closed if you walk by. The 2nd floor location is empty and fully visible from the street. The windows were blacked out before. It looks gutted down to the beams.

That's unfortunate. I did love that place.

Recent nyc spa experience: Stopped by a place called Siam Retreat recently because they advertised male for male massage and it showed up in my search for m4m massage. While the massage itself was very good and the provider was quite sweet and handsome, it was strictly therapeutic and a little pricey ($150 before tip).

just adding my experience to save others some $ if you are seeking something extra from your massage, or if you want a strictly legit Thai massage this could be the place.
