lodging in Austin, Texas?

I'm going to Austin in May for a wedding.  I'd like to stay somewhere fun and gay or convenient to gay stuff.  Any ideas for me?  Thanks, friends.

Austin, like most cities now, has gotten rid of their gay ghetto, which used to be squarely in the middle of 4th Street, downtown.

Any part of Austin will be LGBT-friendly.  Just stay convenient to the wedding location.  Austin traffic is a bitch.

Having been to two family weddings in Austin, I fully agree with Ben's last two sentences.
