Facebook and Oculus VR

I don’t think this is Tech talk, but maybe…

Was just gifted an Oculus VR headset. It requires a Facebook login. I left FB years ago, not interested in re-upping that. What should I do?

AFAIK, there's no way to use the Oculus VR without a Facebook account.  While I have a FB account, I use it as minimally as possible to stay connected with a few friends and will not get any Oculus products.  If you can, return it for the credit.

I just ordered mine and have started the set up.  I'm excited to use it.  I tried skipping the facebook piece, then decided I'm more excited about the virtual reality component, so I gave in and logged in with facebook.

Having a FB account is one thing, but using it is another.  While I’m sure the oculus connection will reveal something about your gaming habits, I’m guessing it’s minimal.

Worked around it with an old dummy FB account for spam. 

It’s pretty much as trippy as I had hoped. It’s probably just an occasional plaything for me.

Only a matter of time. Then probably a matter of money to view it.

Yougoggle.com has plenty of gay content and virtualrealgay.com has high resolution 360 degree video that places you in the scene.
