jeezifonly Posted August 29, 2021 Share Posted August 29, 2021 On Amazon Prime, had cinema release in Italy last year. Roberto Begnini (“Life is Beautiful” best actor Oscar) plays Gepetto. Not at all like the Disney animated movie: Dark, like most fairy tales that originated in Europe. Beautifully cast, written, designed, and directed. It’s dubbed, which they did for the younger viewers, and if that bothers you (like me) I imagine it will be available in Italian with titles. The magical characters including the titular one are created beautifully - the costumes and makeup are stunning. I recommend it.
