Desperate Housewives: Where's the gay couple?

Whatever happened to the gay couple on this show? There's been a five second appearance so far and that's been about it. Have they given up on that story line?

I would assume that they are the only couple on Wisteria Lane that has it all together, currently are living in white-picket-fence-perfection, and have no pressing issues with which to deal... at least for the moment.

 

Heaven knows the rest of the street is all screwed up and then some! Case in point: Eva Longoria. She always looked so hot... but this season she looks beyond being desperate!

 

Shoot! Is this what this site has come down to? I can't believe I just posted about this silly program... In my defense it is the only show presently on major network TV that I bother watching.

You mean you switch channels after watching Desperate Housewives and miss Brothers and Sisters which has perhaps the best gay character in a primary role in all TV and that gay character is portrayed to be in what seems to be a functional gay marriage? What are you? Some kinda drama queen? :-) Besides Kevin and his mate Scotty, there are his straight brothers Tom and Justin who are great fantasy fodder and the gay uncle Saul played by Ron Rifkin . . .

If Kevin is an "example" of the best gay character on television then heaven help us.

 

He is so narcissistic and full of himself that I don't know what Scotty is doing with him. Scotty's the decent one. The most recent episode with Kevin's self-absorbed meltdown was pathetic.

 

Kevin is emblematic of everything wrong with the stereotypical pain-in-the-ass gay queen. Someone needs to beat the shit out of him.

 

Scotty, on the otherhand, is a gem. Should be more gay characters like him on television.

"Narcissistic and full of himself" describes a fairly large percentage of gays, so maybe it is fairly realistic.

And the hot one. I get off on imagining him with his real ex boyfriend, Wentworth Miller currently the star of Prison Break.

Actually his way-so-hot brother Tommy tried to do just that on last weeks episode. Tommy could beat the shit out of me any day he wants.

Well, the whole Walker famly is very fucked up. Rob Lowe is the only normal one on the show.

 

I don't much care for Tommy. That weird eyebrow thing of his really freaks me out.

 

Yes, Scotty is the hot one and the sane one. More of him, please!

Being I don't watch tv I do not know the show you are talking about. But I live and work in the gayborhood and come Thurs-Sun night that is a I good portion I deal with is described as the above. So it is alive and thriving in the real world.

That so many in the gay community are like Kevin is why I often prefer people who don't define themselves by whom they fuck but rather by who they are.

Alas, the storyline for the gay next-door neighbors never seemed to pan out as fans expected.

 

So too, the storyline for Bree's gay son, Andrew (actor Shawn Pyfrom) who after being abandoned on the side of the road by his Mom came back later that season as a gay street hustler. These day's he's being given a much tamer storyline working for Bree with the occassional line or two. Shame!

 

However, not all is dull on Wisteria Lane. Pushing the storyline ahead 5 years has added some new muscle and beefcake to the neighborhood in the guise of Lynette's older and handsomer twin son's Porter and Preston!

 

The only one who seems to have been screwed by the advanced storyline is poor Gaby Solis, who after pushing out two of the chubbiest litle girls, has adopted a more dowdy and unglamorous role in the neighborhood.

They're baaaaaaaaaaaaaack! The gay couple on Disparate Housewives that is. Well according to the promo for next week's episode at least.

 

It seems that Bree's husband Orson needs surgery after the fire and the surgeon who finds Bree and Orson to be a bit off putting. He calls his "significant other" to assure himself that their relationship is functional and that "SO" turns out to be Bree's son Andrew. Andrew takes his SO home to mother and the gay couple espy Andrew and his SO and confide with Bree that the SO looks very much like a porn star they've seen on videos.

 

And that's just from the blackout promo!

 

I seems as if the gay component on DH is about to expand exponentially.

After seeing Sun Nites Episode and seeing Andrew who is getting Cuter with time and Snagging a DR no less! LOL

 

Hopefully the upcoming Episodes with the apparently Dr's PORNO PAST coming out with the probable exscuse.. "I did it to get thru Med School" Which around here we have heard alot, should really be a Hoot! BUT Andrew & "Porter" would make and even Prettier Pix!

I think JT has given me a suggestion for another follow on story line. When Andrew tires of the MD/porn pup, he should seduce the over sexed Porter (imagine engaging with those luscious pouty lips!) who'll seek counsel about his expanding sexuality from the gay couple.

I have to admit that Andrew is looking quite hot this season. More of him please! And the new doctor boyfriend is certainly the cute boy-next-door. And I do think the Schavo twins are nicely cast. Too young, obviously, but that Porter has a brooding hotness that I find likable.

Yup, PORTER with the very Gorgeous Hair ( I am a real Sucker for Great Hair) and a Nice Bod in 5 Years will be a Heartbreaker! Hopefully we do see more of him in the future!

 

He does make the Perfect Boy Toy! Personally a little older and he would have Fit the "Original Gardener's" Role Perfectly! Whatever happened to him? Last I read he was in Rehab in real life?

 

It would also be cool IF Brea's Sons original Gardner Boyfried, would return to put a "crimp" in the New Dr & Son's Love Life? I'm thinking I've watched waay to many SOAPS in my Lifetime! ;-)

Actually, there's more gay action on Brothers and Sisters. Kevin and Scotty usually have one semi-hot smooching scene per episode and even old Uncle Sol recently confessed to having a male friend, although he's not ready to introduce him to the Walker clan. As for eye candy, Justin is pretty sweet and I wouldn't kick Tommy out of bed. And for us old-timers, Rob Lowe still has those marvelous dimples. Check it out, dudes.
