When he subsequently asked to meet an hour later, I agreed. I confirmed both Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Then he ghosted me. Not very professional, in my opinion. I drove 20 miles to get there so I just turned around and went home. He texted me after I got home to tell me he was sorry but he'd have to cancel. Waste of time. The problem with that is the next time he comes to town I have no problem making sure he gets a night in the downtown free hotel aka the city jail. I'm the most understanding guy in the world but screw me around and I can be pretty damn vindictive. Later when I got home after he had sent me a note full of bullshit I chatted him up under my other email address just to see what he'd say. When I asked him if he was free he said yes but he needed to take a shower because he was "rank". I played dumb and asked him if he had been running and he said no he had "animalistic" sex. Not something I would normally do but I was pissed off about driving that far and wanted to know if he was actually sincere or if he was a schmuck. As I suspected he was a schmuck. I texted him right before I drove out and he told me to come on out, but I imagine he just got a better offer. I don't do the escort thing often, but when I do it's not for animalistic sex and I'm sure it's boring to some guys. He apparently found a less boring opportunity come up, or maybe a better paying one. For the record, I have no problem if someone thinks my 'likes' are borning; I'm sure they are to the majority of gay guys. I just have a problem when someone doesn't have the balls to tell me that and has me waste my time and gasoline driving 25 miles for no reason. His communication has always been terrible, but he generally does get back to you, usually several days after he has already left town. This week he played the same game as in the past...you set up a date and time and then he goes AWOL. The next day he'll send you a text stating "Sorry, but I totally forgot" and then stops all communication again.
