Had a provider who I was in contact with on Rentmen and via text suddenly after setting up a potential meeting ask me via text for a picture of my driver's license and a picture of me holding my license!!!!!!

I would not send the requested info, but to see how far he would go, ask him to send the requested info first. If he does, send back a reply saying no thanks then block

That seems pointless and petty. If you're not comfortable (I'm not) sending that stuff, move on. No need for game playing and time wasting.
