Danny-Darko Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 Two Sailors in Love (Kinsey Institute Art Gallery) As some of you may know this well known picture of two young sailors is only the top half of the photograph. The full picture is highly erotic, and shows both with their navy trouser fly fully open. The man on the left is big, the one on the right is HUGE. (No wonder he’s got two stripes on his sleeve) (I've never personally seen the full picture though I've searched. Does anybody have it?) + Charlie, BabyBoomer, + WilliamM and 1 other 3 1

Danny-Darko Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 Gay Couples - Donald Windham and Sandy Campbell Donald Windham (1920 – 2010) was an American novelist and memoirist. He is perhaps best known for his close friendships with Truman Capote and Tennessee Williams. Sandy Campbell (1922 –1988) was a Broadway actor, and later editor and publisher, mainly for his life-partner, Donald Windham. Sandy Campbell met Donald Windham in 1943 while Campbell was modeling for painter Paul Cadmus. The relationship lasted until Campbell’s death in 1988. Campbell left his estate to Windham with the agreement that, at Windham’s death, the remaining of the estate would be used to create a literary prize. The Donald Windham Sandy M. Campbell Literature Prizes was established in 2011 by Yale University. + WilliamM and + Charlie 2
