Sorry I have to be brief cause I have to head to work but over all this album sucks! It hurts me to say such a thing being a fan but there were only 3 maybe 4 good songs and 4 is pushing it big time. For sure not her best work and I'd dare to say her worst ever. Bad Madonna!

Guys...I like it alot..I give her props for changing it up abit. My friends are all looking for "Vogue II." I wasn't a "Ray Of Light" fan but I loved "Confessions."

Madonna landed her 13th chart-topping U.K. single with "4 Minutes" (Warner Bros.) featuring Justin Timberlake yesterday (April 20), while British rock band the Kooks scored an instant No. 1 with their sophomore Virgin album, "Konk."

 

The Madonna track is her 60th U.K. top 10 single, according to data from the Official U.K. Charts Company, and she now pulls away as the female solo artist with the most No. 1 hits in British chart history, with Kylie Minogue next at seven

I'm not a rabid Madonna fan but I've been buying her records since the beginning. As a matter of fact, I have video of my friends and me dancing to "Everybody" at my Bar Mitzvah in '83. My favorite album of hers is actually American Life, which was a flop, right? Shows how in-touch I am with the rest of the public. But I agree with Greg that this new stuff is just "blah." But she'll be back with something great next time.

Wow, you sound like me re: Diana Ross. I can't see her in concert any more...she's just painfully bad. But hopefully, Madonna can come back in better form next time. She should do rock'n'roll now that she's in the Hall of Fame!

I think she needed to reconnect with her fans on this one who just want to party and dance thus all of the collaberations. Plus she owes Live Nation...or is that her next album. There are a few singles off this one. Rick..American Life was the first M album I didn't buy. It was hard.

I am not a rabid fan either but she was always consistent and you could always count on her for a song or two.

 

Ross is anotha story. She needs a huge club hit that crosses over. I don't remember the last album I paid for that was hers (I Love You..oops) It was bad. I ran into Nick Ashford (Ashford and Simpson) on 5th Ave last year..ooohed and awhhhhed and then told him he needs to write for Diana again. He politely smiled. He knew what I meant.

Ok so I got the album on the 28th a day early cause my indy record store hearts me and have been listening to the album non stop. The beats are kick ass but the thing that I do not like and absolutely HATE is the random rapping from Kayne and Timbaland and the aweful singing from I think it's Pharell. Just as I am enjoying the retro 70's beats some yahoo decides he needs to break out in a rap x( I mean WTF? What was she smoking? It is obvious now that I have heard the full album this is for sure aimed at the American audiences. If I had to give the album a letter grade it would be a C and that is because of the out bursts of Kayne, Timbaland and Pharell. If they were not doing their rap crap I'd give the album a B. I'm debating on if I am going to see her this tour because if any of the guys popped on stage I might have to fight very hard from not throwing up all over myself. Oh my favorite song Miles Away.
