RE: Cage Free Eggs

 

I don't go as far as insisting on organic eggs, either, but I do insist that they be cage free. There is no difference in taste that I detect, but there is a difference on moral grounds. I know that "cage free" has been misinterpreted by egg conglomerates, too, but when I heard about how small a cage and how many hens are crammed into it for life, I felt we were letting down on our part of the bargain with the chickens. Just like I won't eat veal. The things they do to those calves!!

Gads, it's rather high up here on this horse. Hope I don't fall off and bust my ass. LOL
