Assuming it was set in Palm Springs was probably the major reason I was interested in watching this movie. Thanks for the heads up, probably a pass for me.

It got a great review in the LA Times.

So the title of the movie is quite misleading. As this article from the Desert Sun points out, Palm Springs gets no screen time. It could have been called Phoenix!

But how many people choose Phoenix for a "destination wedding"? Apparently, one of the comic ironies about the movie is that it is not about Palm Springs at all, but about being trapped forever at a "destination wedding."

If one were to guess, filming in Santa Clarita was way cheaper. I could be wrong. But at least Samberg could drive back to his house in Beachwood Canyon each night vs. housing everyone in PS.

Look at the cast! I am intrigued. Based on the reviews I will watch it.
