Great news: The Politician returns for Season 2 on June 19

 

If it’s as good as Season 1, we can expect oodles of wit and glossy fun about Politics.

Season 2 begins this Friday (according to my Netflix lineup). I guess it jumps ahead 3 years.

I finished Season 2 last night. I loved it. It was very funny and entertaining. I also liked seeing the very cute David Corenswet in various moments.

 

One thing I don’t understand, however, is the prudishness of Netflix. There’s a flashback to what happened the night of the 3some of Payton (Ben Platt), River (David Corenswet) and Astrid. Both men were shown wearing dark-coloured boxer briefs. It was very disappointing.

 

I remember seeing much more naked male flesh in the Hollywood movie, My Own Private Idaho, and that was many years ago.
