Birthday "outing" on Facebook?

I unfortunately need FB in order to stay connected with my massive extended family. It'd be impossible to keep in touch with most of them otherwise.

 

Don't mind getting bday wishes at all since most of them come from RL friends & fam who don't need FB to remind them of my birthday.

Thanks for the advice, dudes! I just noticed that my birthday was, in fact, on FB. Must have put it there years ago (though only visible to friends, anyone could tell by my messages around that day). I changed it to January 1.

Echoing what a lot of people have said...I don’t have Facebook anymore and when I had it, I made sure my bday info wasn’t included in my profile. I’m with you, I don’t like random people wishing me a happy birthday just because an algorithm reminded them.
