Yes. Normally I'm very hesitant to embrace another performer reimagining an artist's work. But where Leonard Cohen is concerned, as wonderful as his voice and presence was (saw him live multiple times), his music seems to be made to reinterpret. Like this one:

The first time I heard this, I cried. I never cry. I know that my Mom will pass some day, I know it. But I just can't imagine it. I don't know if song made that reality easier or harder. But I'm grateful for it.
