Almost complete blockage of an artery, caused by a hereditary condition that causes plaque buildup.  The doctors say he survived what is normally a fatal heart attack only because of immediate medical intervention (a doctor present was able to use a defibrillator) and his excellent fitness level.

I saw She Walks in Darkness (Un fantasma en la batalla) in the theater last week, but it’s already on US Netflix.  It’s the story of a female agent of Spain’s Guardia Civil who goes undercover to infiltrate ETA, the Basque terrorist group.  It’s a well-done suspense thriller, and while not a documentary, you also get some insight into how ETA operated and its impact on Spain (829 confirmed murders, 3000 injuries, 79 kidnappings, and thousands threatened and extorted).  Definitely worth a watch.
