What became of the escort with the urgent medical need?

In the recent past, there was a posting asking for assistance for an escort with a medical condition which was described as quite severe and which was complicated by his not having insurance. A request was made for funds to help this person. Has anyone follow information about the outcome of that situation? I tried to search the site to find the original post but I was not successful in finding it. Thanks for the follow up if there is any.

I don't think there was a "public" announcement, but I was privately thanked and informed that the surgery was successful and things looked very promising.

I'm sure that ncm2169 can give you the details.
