WARNING - FAKE PROFILE: TravisLongStrokes

Exchanged text messages with this guy who I thought was the guy in his profile. NO GO - someone else who does not even come close to resembling the guy in the profile shows up. He picked the wrong guy to try and swindle. While I noticed right away I didn't say anything, I just invited him in and told him to stand by the door while I grabbed something. I was actually letting my 187lb South African boerboel (Sammy) out of the kitchen. Sammy is very protective and when Mr Travis heard that bark and then saw Sammy he dashed out the door.

Just a follow up on this. As I mentioned earlier, I reported Mr Travis’s erroneous profile to RM. I received a very pleasant response that said they have removed his profile and noted other information he used to create his profile. Leading me to believe that it would be difficult for him to put the fake ad back up.

 

Regrettably it mustn’t be so hard to thwart the RM staff, because as of 3:43AM on September 28th, Mr Travis has his ad back up.

I reported the profile to RM and they responded by saying the profile had been taken down. Regrettably, that was not true and Mr. KingTravisLong’s profile remains active.

With all the bitching in the forums about mintboys and friendboy, I must say that every time I reported an issue, those ads where immediately put down.
