Los Angeles is feeling like a massage wasteland

Perhaps I’m jaded, perhaps I’ve lived here too long, perhaps I get too many massages but I used to feel that there was an abundance of handsome, skilled, sensual masseurs in this town and now it feels like a lot of guys who charge too much considering their lack of skills.

But I can’t always book them and I often want a new experience.

WOW, I live in Chicago and I always thought that NYC, Miami, and LA were so much ahead of us as far as the choice of masseurs.

I guess I can scratch LA from the list now :-(

 

I am sad to say that Chicago has been feeling unusually wastelandy too!

3 of my favorite masseurs are no longer here, and I don't have a single replacement. Or even a masseur I want to try in order to replace them. I am down to 1.5 regulars, and I've learned my lesson to be picky and careful with the visitors, very few are worth the time and money, so things are pretty grim now.

 

Can't wait to get back to New York!

Troy's the only one I've seen, but I'd take a chance with all the rest.

I disagree with your premise about LA. I find we have a great variety to chose from. I travel a bit and have seen the offering in other cities and I think we have it good. This site alone I’d say a good 30-40% of the discussions are about LA providers.

 

With so many choices there are bound to be average masseurs but I think that’s part of what makes it fun, there is always something new. And while it might be a hit or a miss part of the excitement is that sense of the unknown, not knowing where a session might go and being surprised and awed. While I have my 2-3 go to guys I still like to have new experiences and am glad I live where there are plenty of options.

 

Yes perhaps I’ve been doing this too long. I’ve seen the price points double in the 20 years since I started to partake of m4m massage services. I’ve seen guys come and go and think that I’ll never have experience like that again and then new guys show up to the scene and the cycle starts all over.

I believe it's been confirmed that Asian Master is fake.

 

Hermess used to work at the gym I was a member of. He didn't have as many tats back then, but was strikingly handsome and beautifully built. Can't vouch for massage skills, but remember reading somewhere in the forums he was "meh" at best.
