I have noticed that all the masseurs at SMS now upsell instead of letting things happen organically. I went last year, stopped for a bit, and started going again the past few months. Saw three masseurs and all of them did this. Anyone else notice this or is it just me (won't be offended if it's just me)

Rodrigo Shangrila, for me, was about the same as Jorge. Rodrigo SMS was okay if I recall correctly.

No one said that Rodrigo left Shangrila. There are 2 Rodrigo's. One is at SMS and is a little bit more built, and the other at Shangrila is built more like a basketball player.

For most of the "legit" masseurs that may turn erotic: you just have to give the right signals to the masseur and he'll know what to do. It doesn't have to be a lottery if you don't want it to be.

There's a thread for Spas in NYC, but did not see one for San Francisco. I'm a recent transplant here. Where are the gay massage places here? I did a search for "men's spa" on Google Maps, and it did not give me anything conclusive.

I've been to The/One Men Spa for a few years. I usually see someone named Max, who is a 40ish year old buff Russian Daddy type. If you remember "Mr. Clean" from the 90's commercials, he gives off that vibe and image. His massage is probably one of the best I've had out of any of these places. His hands feel like butter on your skin. He also does this scalp massage on your head which feels amazing. Never tried anything sexual though, because I use him as a masseur.

I had Alan (if this is the same Alan from 2 years ago). He's Asian, kinda slender build. I'd give the massage part as "good" but not "excellent". Gets more playful and sensual at the end.

Tried Hero with Alvin. He was okay and can probably do sensual. It was weird though, because a prior poster in this thread said that Alvin was "very, very muscular Japanese". The Alvin that I met was Chinese and had muscles, but would not describe as "very, very muscular". The guy on the phone was also rude, almost nasty, to me. Probably would not go back.

Hero's facebook page has a beefy, muscle Asian guy. Tried calling to see what his name is and to try to book an appointment with him, but customer service is rarely the highlight of these places and was curtly told to do a walk-in and find a guy I like. I can report back.
