I have the Burner app and a strange number keeps calling it but its saying the call is from the name I registered the Burner app with.

If I get a voice call from someone who has my Burner App phone number...my name shows up in the caller ID, I think this is the default for the Burner App. Later in my messages list it will say “call complete” or “missed call” as a message in that person’s messages history.

The mystery has been partially solved. I decided to answer the phone this morning when it looked like I was calling myself again. It was a call from my endocrinologist's office. But in the past when someone reached me thru my Google Voice Number, the caller ID showed Google Voice. Now it apparently shows my name for some reason.

I occasionally get a call on my landline phone that identifies the caller as myself. I never answer, and I never leave me a voicemail.
