I am running windows XP. How come the site above was preloaded as a restricted site under my security settings? I never went to this site before and no one else uses this computer.

If you're using IE7 (and it's difficult not to be), it has hooks to detect sites known to propagate malware or participate in phishing scams.

I am using version IE6. I used 7 for three minutes. It gave me hives.

Sounds nasty. I am glad IE blocked it.

IE6 doesn't have that feature. Are you SURE you're using IE6?

 

They push 7 out on Windows Update fairly regularly (which is why I say it's hard to avoid).

I receive all of the normal Window Updates when they come out except IE7. There is a way to say "no" to it. The good people at http://www.dslreports.com/forum/winme taught me. Also, there are IE7 blocker programs. Maybe I'm old fashioned, I just HATE IE7. I like the old days like AM radio, drive-in movies, apple pie, and a home town hussy scandal.

No offense but WHY are you using IE? I switched to Mozilla Firefox and that is my browser of preference. Never had a problem accessing that site with that browser.

 

Since most "bad" things are written with IE in mind, I feel safer using Firefox to surf. Do you find significant benefits staying with IE?

I have both Opera and Firefox loaded on my computer. I guess I am just use to IE6. I am even still using Windows Media Player 10. When it comes to certain things on my computer I guess I am an old soul.

Maybe someday I will trade in my gas lamp for a fancy light bulb. In the meantime it hasn't effected my erections so I'm OK.

F3 I forgot if you like movies and actors check out http://www.hsx.com it at one time included music (which I did well at) but has since dropped the music part of the game and is now all about movies and actors.
