I'm subscribed to Kingdom... Jonathan Tucker plays a super-tough & rough guy, although, in real life, he used to be a ballet dancer. His character is not the type of guy you would want to mess with!

The Trevor Project - Saving Young LGBTQ Lives

"The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13–24." https://www.thetrevorproject.org

New York, NY — The Trevor Project sent 100 copies of “A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo”*, an illustrated children’s book that explores topics of acceptance and marriage equality, to Immanuel Christian School, where it was reported that Karen Pence will teach art. The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis organization for LGBTQ young people...

… “As an alumnus of Immanuel Christian School, I am a living example that intolerance, both in policy and rhetoric, are harmful to the mental wellness and development of LGBTQ students, who are desperately looking for ways to fit in,” said Luke Hartman, an out gay man. “The silent and spoken messages of rejection that are constantly felt by LGBTQ students directly impact the relationship they have with their faith, education, and relationships with family and friends — ultimately resulting in a feeling of being less than when compared to their straight and cisgender peers.”

* Marlon Bundo is the Pence family's pet rabbit. "A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo" is a 2018 parody of the Pence family's own book, "Marlon Bundo's A Day in the Life of the Vice President." In the parody, Marlon Bundo is gay, and is harassed by a stink bug that looks suspiciously like the vice president.

In John Oliver’s version, written by Last Week Tonight staffer Jill Twiss and illustrated by E.G. Keller, Marlon is a gay rabbit who falls in love with another boy rabbit. All proceeds from the book have gone to The Trevor Project and AIDS United. https://www.betterbundobook.com/

There’s a reason I donate to the Trevor Project. A great organization.

Cara Delevingne said she was speaking publicly and proudly about her queerness for the first time at the TrevorLIVE gala, where she received the Trevor Project’s Hero Award for the awareness and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

The evening also honored Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos with the 20/20 Visionary Award. They accepted the Champions Award from friend and actor Jonathan Tucker. After hilariously playing off of each other and humbly accepting the honor, Kelly and mark surprised Sam Brinton (they/them) by calling them up to the stage to share the award.

“We are so honored but we have to admit we are a little uneasy accepting this award. I mean, we’re two cisgendered heteros married for 23 years,” Ripa said. “What could we possibly know about alienation from community or fear of having our rights taken away?”

“Well, you are a woman,” Consuelos responded.

“That’s true. And you are Mexican,” Ripa said.

Ripa and Consuelos dedicated their award to Trevor Project’s head of advocacy and government affairs Sam Brinton. Delevingne donated $50,000 to the Trevor Project and also took the moment from the stage to thank “a very special woman,” her girlfriend Ashley Benson.

“She’s one of the people that helped me love myself when I needed it most and I really needed it,” Delevingne said.

“She showed me all her love and she showed me how to accept it which I was a lot harder than I thought. I love you sprinkles.”
