There is that tired old game wherein you take your first pet's name and add it to your street or town or high school name to get a random escort name. Never have found them entertaining.

Drag queens however usually seem to come up with amusing pseudonyms--Helena Handbasket; Hedda Lettuce.

Browsing the ads, I found an Escort by the name of Warren Peace (should really have been Warren Piece but I digress.) and while he is not located anywhere near where I live, if he were, I might consider hiring him on the name alone.

 

Anyone care to share some amusing pseudonyms used by escorts. Some that show a spark of wit rather than the Simple ability to exaggerate like Johnny Footlong or BJ Best.

There's also the game in which you take film titles, take out a word and subsitute the word CUNT. So from "Strangers on a Train" you get "Cunts on a Train." You can move "Cunt" about: "Strangers on a Cunt," "Stranger Cunts on a Train" or "Strangers on a Cunt Train."

 

"The Cunt Vanishes" or "The Lady Cunt."

 

Go through entire genres, e.g. Bette Davis films: "All About Cunt," "Dark Cunt" or "Cunt Victory." I'm sure many who worked on these films thought the "cunt" titles would have been more accurate than the actual titles. Just ask Bette Davis what she thought of Celeste Holm.

Reminds me of one of the most amusing term paper pep-talks a prof ever gave me in a sociology class:

 

"Alright guys, I'll be honest with you. Theres about 150 of you in this class and each of your papers is going to run 25 - 30 pages, no pictures. Frankly, I'm going to just look at the titles, skim them for content, put my grade (which was what counted the most), and then let the T.A.s handle the rest."

 

Of course the title of my paper,

 

"From selling butt to celibate, an ex escorts tale of using his bottom to get to the top."

 

That title was one of the three papers to set the curve for the course .

1. I guess capitalization mistakes didn't count against you? (When I was in school, titles were capitalized. Has this changed?)

 

2. By the way--who was the escort in question?

 

3. For some reason, it seems to me that it should be turned into something for the theatre. Of course you would have to add the following subtitle--"A Play in Three Acts"

Davis called Holm a "bitch." From all accounts, many and consistent, including some published, Bette was right.

Veering off topic way more than a tad -- Somehow this thread reminds of the word game we used to play as silly teenagers (back in the 50's, boys and girls). Just read any product slogan and add the words "between the sheets." Such a silly game, but the girls got all giggly in embarrassment and the boys gave out those masculine chortles that say "been there, done that," whereas none of us had been anywhere, much less done anything.

I know you didn't mean to come across bitchy with that especially since I was just typing out a title. Unlike some people on this board I don't engage in unnecessary capitalization. But if you're going to be technical, titles and running heads in APA format require only the first word and Names, etc to be capitalized.

Definitely didn't mean to be bitchy,I was trying to be amusing. I apologize--being out of work has left me with entirely too much time on my hands--the h-ll of it is that I now have a lot of time to hire but not the wherewithal. ;( ;( ;(
