P..., I am certainly glad that you started this particular thread. A similar situation (without the additional navigate notice) has happened to me on three occasions within the past three months. In October I wrote a very favorable and detailed review of a cutie in Buenos Aires. Just this past Saturday I wrote a review of a superb massage therapist and porn star whom I saw on Friday only to have it rejected in terms of its not going through after I pressed "Submit!"

I sent an email to "Daddy" yesterday regarding the failure of my review not going through. I still await a response although I stated that he could respond at his convenience.

It is indeed disappointing when one types a review which takes about twenty or more minutes only to have his thoughts along with his time going to waste. When a review doesn't connect after one hits the "Submit" section-- that means that one has to redo (out of frustration) the review again if he desires others to read about his experience with specific individuals! :( :( :(

I do hope that this situation is RECTIFIED immediately for all concerned!

I do not have any inside knowledge about the review submission process but I do know how these things generally work and just submitted a review without incident. (If you see a review get published for an escort named "Test" you'll know what it's about.)

The review form is INCESSANTLY picky and way over-validated. I've been nipping at Daddy's heels every time something just too onerous rears its ugly head, and he fixes it, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

>"If you navigate away from this site you will lose the data you

>have entered" -- and the choices were "continue" or "cancel".

I did not encounter that prompt at any time in the review I just submitted, and I find it difficult to believe that Daddy would ever use language that clear in a popup message. ;-)

I have seen similar prompts at online merchant sites (such as Amazon.com) but daddysreviews.com doesn't sell anything. There's no reason for that kind of prompt.

I have seen that message in the latest version of Windows and IE (and Firefox) becaue **IE** (and Firefox) is trying to protect you from phishing sites. But you didn't bother to include the operating system or browser you're using, so that's just a guess.

From what I just observed, I do not believe that prompt is coming from Daddy's site. There's nothing Daddy can fix.

I went to the "write a review" section on this site this weekend, pulled up the review form, and wrote a whole long thing, filling in the blanks, the whole bit. Then I clicked on "Submit". A window opened that said something like "If you navigate away from this site you will lose the data you have entered" -- and the choices were "continue" or "cancel".

I didn't know what to do. I had entered all the info required. What does it mean "navigate?" I just clicked "submit". It should say "submission accepted" or "please do..." whatever.

I had something similar with the last review I submitted a few months ago, and just kept cancelling and going back to see if I had left anything blank that was required. Eventually I hit "continue" and that review was posted.

This one, however, I don't think went through. I haven't received an e-mail from Daddy saying it was received. So I think it was erased.

What's up with this? Anyone know? And what are you supposed to do when you get that window referring to "navigating away?"

Suggestion:

Whenever I write something long on a web site, before I click on Submit (or any other button), or try to go elsewhere on the site before submitting what I've written, I save the text. Just do a COPY. Then if you lose the text, you just paste it back in when you start again.

I also saw that pop-up when I did a review last week, but I ignored it and hit "submit"; however, I got another message that said there was an error in one of the fields. I checked them all and found nothing wrong, but each time I tried to submit, I got the same response. I emailed Daddy, who replied within a few hours, and after a couple of quick exchanges, he was able to explain the error to me. I revised the review and submitted it again, and it went right through, with a confirmation from Daddy the next day. I, too, have a lot of quibbles about the form, but I have not had any real problem with the process.

A little birdie tells me (and Daddy) there are issues with telephone number validation and European telephone numbers. I can completely see this as a real issue.

It really does help to report this stuff to [email protected] folks.

Well thanks guys for all the advice. I think that copying the text is a smart idea although I'm not sure I know how to do that, since I'm filling in a form that is not in Word, so where's the Copy option?

I'm using a relatively new Dell computer with Internet Explorer. As far as I know, it doesn't have the firewall you mention. But it's possible it does.

What is "phishing"?

Next time I'll try some of these things.

This weekend I shall try again, but I do know that I did everything correctly on Saturday of last week only to have my wonderfully-written review of Jake Decker SF not go through the first time.

The most time consuming part for me is writing the "Experience" section. I write that part in a word processing program and save it. Then I can copy and paste it in the Review form. If it doesn't go through the first time, I can copy and paste it again.

It also gives me a spell check feature, so I don't end up telling you guys how we both came at the same tim. Although it won't prevent me from telling you how much I enjoyed sucking his cook. :9

Ctrl-A = Select all

Ctrl-C = Copy

Ctrl-V = Paste

(Change Ctrl to CMD if you're on a Mac.)

You can paste it into Word, Powerpoint, Excel or Notepad (or this site) on Windows. Or you can start in any of those applications and paste into the review form.

If the only thing you use on your computer is your browser, I have to wonder why you have a computer. (Sorry, I don't mean that to be unkind but JEEZ!)

How recent? If it's within the last year, yes you do have it.

>What is "phishing"?

That's where you show the world you're too dumb to own a computer and spend the next several years getting black marks taken off your credit report.

It's on the nightly news every month or so.
