This guy emailed a friend who escorts asking twice in the same short email about "a reasonable rate". Rates unfortunately are not on display on Rentmen. The guy is asking for 1 hour or 90 mins.

 

I think he's a cheap ass shopping around.

I hate not having the rates posted clearly on RM.

 

A few times I’ve been 1/2 way through the session and realized we never

discussed price. Each time I’ve panicked a little and thought, what the

Hell am I gonna do when he says “my rate is $1,000 per hour” at the end

of a 2 hour meeting???

 

So far I haven’t been burned, but I really do hate discussing rates.

It's a fair question, but phrased oddly enough that I agree with the people who think the guy's shopping around for discounts. "What's a reasonable rate for an hour?" gives a different impression than "What's your rate for an hour?"

cheap clients tend to be abusive, demanding, bossy, they feel they're getting a slave for an hour.

 

Btw the client offered him $200 for 90 mins.

 

I guess reasonable means affordable.

It annoys me when an escort does not include his rate in his ad. It becomes awkward when he tells you it’s $400, then you say no thanks, and he comes back with how does $350 or $300 sound. By then he’s already put me off and when I still say no thanks he says I’ve just wasted his time. You not publishing your rate is a waste of time. For me.

Good point. I guess those who advertise on RM need to deal with inquiries about price as the "price to pay" for advertising on that site.

I could be totally wrong but i thought ( when they made changes due to new legislation) that the rate for time could be mentioned in the body of the text of the individual profiles but not how it used to be whereby the site prominently listed everyone's. Isn't that what are "score's" on FriendBoy? Haha

Friendboy copies ads and places them on their site, they're not reliable.

 

For good and for bad rentmen.com rules and they don't allow to post rates.

As far as I know, they tightened it up; if you try to include rates in the body of your ad, they won’t publish them. I may be wrong but that’s what I’ve seen lately.

This. It's an old tactic that listing sites use to boost numbers and appear they have a solid stable of advertisers.

This is so weird - do they really think it will go unnoticed? When I communicate with a provider I always state "I found your profile on xyz site" so they know where I am coming from as a legit customer.

I simply state the rate straight up depending on what you are looking for from READING my profile. If it doesnt fit your budget, by all means move on. How hard is that really? lol

Every time I try to add it RM moderators delete while reviewing so I've given up. Damn. Would save me so many texts lol
