PS How tall is Mason? The reason I ask is that I am 6'4" and that can be tough to handle for masseurs under 5'10".

I saw him about 3 months ago while he was in town.   I’d say he’s about 5’10”.   Massage was fine.   He was truly a sweet and pleasant person, but massage was just ok.

It didn’t sadly 😑. Made an appt with him for last Saturday afternoon, then the morning of when I texted to confirm he said his back was bothering him from deadlifting the day before and he asked if we could postpone til Monday or Tuesday. I said sure since I’ve been in a similar situation with deadlifting. Never responded after that

That hasn't been my experience but I've also been a regular of his for years now so maybe we've developed a bit of a rapport.

Mason is hard to pin down, I actually had 2 prior cancellations from him but was able to get him on attempt #3.  Smart guy with a smoking hot body.  Massage was OK, not great but more than a rubdown.  I was into him, he was into me, so it turned into more, which I had no issues with.  
I would repeat if things lined up again but wouldn’t go out of my way to make it happen.  I would recommend anyone who has him on their list to try for themselves but be prepared for a little bit of a challenge in making it happen, unless he’s changed.
