With all tha talk re oral service giving and receiving... being young (over 18 of course) and new to the game....is it realy safe re can you catch anything ?????:-(

Posted

Most commonly:

Gonorrhea

Chlamydia

Herpes

Nature punishes w/o prejudice: Receiving a BJ is no less a risk than giving. Take that "straight but curious" men of the world!

You can give yourself an ulcer worrying about the small HIV risk or just put it out of your mind provided you use common sense and avoid mouth cuts and bloody dicks and assholes.

If oral for you includes rimming, you also risk stomach flu and anal warts and giardia. washing down there goes a long way.

Here's the good news. Wash up, gargle before and after giving o sex w/mouthwashHydrogenPeroxide, piss shortly after receiving, and you may go your whole life w/o getting anything. Even better news, all these problems are cureable, except for herpes which is, good news, very treatable.

Use your head, use your medicine cabinet, toilet, soap and sink. Have fun!

p.s. oh shit, I forgot, get your Hepatitis A and B vaccines. You don't want either, and a simple shot will keep 'em away.

Hepatits B is a series of three immunizations over a sixth month period but it is a wise choice for gay men who are at considerably higher risk for this potentially serious disease.

I never knew you could use hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash. I always thought it was for external use only. So I checked the bottle for all the directions. It says, for a mouthwash or rinse, to mix 1/2 HP with 1/2 water and try not to swallow any. Thanks for the tip.

I assume there's no prepared hp mouthwash mixture.

Tristan,

Oh, there IS a prepared Hydrogen Peroxide mouthwash; It's called Peroxyl by Colgate.

A quick Google search should tell you all you need to know. :)
