Nip/Tuck is a train-wreck, but it's one of the most entertaining trashfests on television today (imo).

 

The only real problem i have with the show is that no matter how hard the characters try, there's always an overwhelming sense of negativity that engulfs everything. Bright spots in the life of Miami's foremost plastic surgeons don't seem to come at a pace anything more than lethargic. A bit fatalistic i'd say.

 

... That doesn't stop it from being entertaining though.

Come on Benjamin. I was just playing with you. I didn't know that you would get offended. Sorry. If it wasn't for you, I would have never found my way back to this website. Nip/Tuck is good escapism. We get to forget about our problems for a time. But when an episode ends, we always have to go back to living in "Bush" world. Now thats something to be sad about :-(

Added, i find myself going too easily into 'defense mode' when i do actually post something, as there are way too many on here who would rather just argue and fight than actually have a discussion. It's the main reason that more clients & escorts don't post here, as this place has the pallid reputation for bashing people down.

I disagree. What I love about this message board and the reason I've continued to post since it began is the civil exchange of ideas and differing opinions. Yes, every so often there is a nasty troublemaker but the voices of reason usually overpower them. Lately, posters have been commenting on the respectful tone of the arguments, and I applaud it, too. I think the trick is maintaining a sense of humor about it all and not taking it or ourselves too seriously.

 

Btw, do you really want to knock this site when it promotes your own? :o

I agree, Rick. I think the tone has become better on this board after some nasty characters departed. I enjoy many of the posters and only wish more escorts would participate. However, I'm glad you throw in your two cents (or more) on a regular basis!

I wish more would participate, too. But we seem to have a good, core group of escorts who regularly give their input. Maybe the rest just can't read or write (or maybe they're in Derek's situation and have a boyfriend who hogs the computer).
