Snakes On A Plane

So I gave in to the hype and went to see this movie today. It was an excellent B-Movie. I don't think that I have ever laughed so hard or jumped so much in my seat in a movie theatre in years.

 

In one scene a guy goes to the lavatory and unzips his zipper to go to the bathroom and a snake comes up from the toilet and bites him right on his dick. They had some classic campy scenes.

 

Definitely not oscar material, but it made for a fun afternoon.

What great, or poor, timing on the release of this movie.

In reality, the only real snakes on a plane are on board the current Air Force One.

I keep hearing how enjoyable this movie is, but I also am horribly afraid of snakes. Would love to see the movie because of what I'm hearing, but there's just no way I could make it through without having a coronary.

I know I'll probably see this movie eventually. On cable if nothing else.

 

I also know how I react to snake movies. (Hey, I watch SciFi often.)

 

NO WAY do I want people to see my reactions to snakes in public! LOL

I laughed out loud this AM over my morning coffee after reading the following purported line by Samuel L. Jackson............" I've had it up to fuckin' HERE with these fuckin' snakes!".

 

If even half the rest of the movie is a s funny as this line, it ought to be a real campy fest.

I think the line goes like this:

 

"Enough is enough! I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane!".

I remember being horrified the first time I heard "m.....f.....".

 

Now it's just a funny line in a movie.

 

Now heaven knows, anything goes.

I just saw this movie this afternoon and I was very pleasantly surprised. I HATE snakes and 2 women in our group did too, but we enjoyed the film. It had some very funny scenes in it. The rest of the audience was awesome. It was like they were ready to have some fun today! :-)

It seems like this movie should be seend in 3D with those cheap paper glasses for a cheap thrill!

According to CNN the opening weekend gross was quite low - around 14 million - so all the hype seems to have fallen on deaf ears

I loooooooved this movie! I literally jumped out of my seat twice during it and into my dates lap (not that that was a bad thing).

 

Such a fantastic trashy campy movie! I highly reccomend for a fun, ridiculously scary time.
