Gay and bisexual men more likely to marry later in life

I think it might have something to do with the fact that it was ILLEGAL for gay men to get married until recently. They necessarily had to wait until later in life because it was not an option when they were young (except for the current crop of twinks).

Of course. The article even mentions that fact, but doesn't bother to follow up with any commentary on the fact that the stats are not very useful in the first place, because they are comparing apples (a demographic that has always been able to marry) to oranges (a demographic that has been legally able to marry for only a half decade).

In other words, it's meaningless clickbait and useless for all intents and purposes. It briefly mentions an obvious reason/exception and ignores it instead of accounting for it.

Analogy: There is smoke in Northern California because of all the pot smoking. There may be the occasional wildfire that consumes hundreds of square miles, but it's really the pot smoking.
