I had a friend who took Xanax and, when he stopped cold turkey, he was grouchy for days.

 

Sounds like me quitting Diet Coke!

Thanks. It's been a lot of work, and it still takes attention and intention. I could easily slip into and be swallowed up by old patterns. One thing that really makes a difference for me is to talk to a friend, or do something for someone, when I notice I'm starting to ruminate.
