2nd World is an old Cold War term for the communist bloc which included Czechoslovakia. It’d be ironic to apply that to the US. I’m sorry they don’t like it here. Is this a recent thing?

Yes, it's a very recent thing the past few years. Several of us who have friends we like to bring over have been discussing it because it's not traditional. If you check, the number of visitors from Europe has fallen a lot so it's not just anecdotal. They don't usually want to say why not but when pushed for reasons the ones I ask and those friends ask are fairly consistent. The homeless people and poor people everywhere and the general decay of the urban areas is just appalling to Europeans. The first few days the first time a European comes they're excited and then the grit hits them. They see the Empire State Building and the Grand Canyon and hurry home and warn their friends.

I thought of this when I took a friend to get pizza at a very nice Italian restaurant by my house which is in a very nice part of DC. Senator Mark Warner and his aide were actually sitting next to us. Walking there you have to be careful because the sidewalk is in such disrepair it's easy to trip. Hubcaps often come up on the sidewalk from potholes. But you walk down the sidewalk and endure that and a half-dozen pan-handlers harassing you because the alley shortcut reeks of urine and human feces. If you stay late enough you may well hear gunshots further up the street. You'll certainly be path crossed by rats the size of cats. If you find anything worth going to later you have to Uber because there's little public transportation. Compared to London, Paris, Berlin or even Prague or Zurich it's really run down, dirty, and uninviting. It's just not "1st World" anymore. We've really fallen behind.

Wow! I live in DC too - in Shaw - and I don’t see anything like you describe. That’s a shame.

Europeans don't even know about the Grand Canyon, only recently with the cheap dollar during W's mandate they discovered San Francisco.

Don't you forget the favelas all over the city.

WE? You don't mean it, you're saying you Americans.

Don't try to reason with him, he hates: Israel, our country the U.S.A. and capitalism.

My house is on 14th right next to Shaw and it's a little hard to believe you don't see the rats, the busted sidewalks and streets, smell the urine in the alleys and the beggers everywhere, or hear the gunshots. If you google you'll find there have been a lot of murders around you. Two years ago 2 DC police emptied 34 bullets into a black guy behind my house they claimed was robbing people. A month ago 3 houses in my block, including mine, were robbed at 7am on a saturday morning while residents were home, and 2 months ago every car parked on my block had it's windows busted. I keep gallons of bleach to throw on urine smells and feces in the side and rear alley. And I'm in a really expensive area. May be hard to believe but they have none of this in Paris or Berlin or even Prague. And they're much more "urban" than we are.

We were supposed to hook up months ago but he got into an accident and was out of business for a while. Then a month ago I got an email he was recovering and slowly going back in biz. I emailed. (He can't text). No answer yet in a month.

As any DC guy knows, it's not like we have a big surplus of super-hot business guys. Drought is more like it as many clients as there are. The 2 best going MIA for so long is concerning. Especially to someone who's just got a two-week window.

Any 411 on either guy?

Is this Tristan? No face photos on the RM profile

No, it is not. The picture is of a webcam model who use to be on musclehunks site (and other sites) who went by the name Tonyy. He hasn’t cammed in years as far as I know.

As long as I’ve known him, Tristan never showed his face on any escorts sites. He may have in the past before we met.

I know there aren't. All the local 20's guys are accountants or lawyers. Why we get so many visiting ones, it's a sellers' market. These two are from western Maryland and Ohio. When my friends are in town they get 20 or 30 client requests a day. There are a lot here but not enough and what's here is sub-premium and stale.
. Sub premium and stale.... Wow
