How do you delete your own post in the Forum?

 

All I can see is how to edit it - but not how to get rid of it.

Click on Report in the OP and ask the admins to do it.

As a partial solution, Ive seen threads with the title changed to DELETED and no content in the initial post - both likely accomplished using editing tools.

At the bottom of your post you should see 3 words EDIT DELETE REPORT

 

You should just be able to click on delete. A drop box will come down, then click on delete post. It will ask for a reason for the deletion, but that is not necessary. Clicking on delete post will suffice.

I know we can delete a post. I've done it.

 

I inferred - my bad - that since he knew how to edit, he meant delete a thread he'd started.

 

If I start a new topic/thread, then change my mind, can I delete it? Even if not one reply or like on my initial message?
